The Fynbos Biome is part of the Cape Floral Region and has two key vegetation groups, namely the Fynbos and Renosterveld.
The Fynbos is extremely rich in plant species and up to 7 000 species are included in this group. 80% of these species are endemic to the Cape Floral Region. To celebrate the uniqueness and biodiversity of the Fynbos, the Funky Fynbos Festival is held annually over a weekend in September in Gansbaai.
The farm has a garden centre/nursery with a wide range of indigenous and coastal plants and restaurant serving breakfast and light meals.
